The credit union is supporting the national event through the North Andover VFW Post 2104

For the second consecutive year, BrightBridge Credit Union (BrightBridge) is proud to announce its sponsorship of 100 wreaths through Wreaths Across America in partnership with the North Andover Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2104. The wreaths will be placed on veterans' graves at Ridgewood Cemetery (177 Salem Street, North Andover) on Saturday, Dec. 13, to honor those who have served and sacrificed for our nation.

Wreaths Across America is a national initiative dedicated to remembering fallen veterans, honoring those who serve and teaching future generations about the value of freedom. BrightBridge's sponsorship ensures that the graves of 100 veterans at Ridgewood Cemetery will be adorned with fresh wreaths, a gesture of respect and gratitude during the holiday season.

This commitment carries special meaning for the credit union, whose President & CEO, John J. Howard, is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Under his leadership, BrightBridge continues to prioritize programs that honor service members and foster a shared sense of remembrance within the communities it serves.

The wreath-laying ceremony will take place as part of National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, Dec. 13. All community members are invited to attend the event and honor fallen soldiers by participating in the ceremony. Those interested in sponsoring a wreath may do so by clicking here, as more than 1,500 fallen heroes have been laid to rest at Ridgewood Cemetery.

“Our participation in Wreaths Across America is an important reminder of the bravery and sacrifice that define our nation’s heroes,” said BrightBridge’s North Andover Branch Manager Miguel Rodriguez. “We hope our involvement inspires others in our community to join us in paying tribute and ensuring that every veteran is remembered.”

BrightBridge’s sponsorship reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting local organizations and its dedication to honoring our nation's heroes. Through initiatives like this, the credit union encourages community members to come together in gratitude and remembrance.
