BrightBridge Credit Union (BrightBridge) team members supported two important causes the weekend of Sept. 19: the 2026 Walk for Hope Fall Festival benefiting Lazarus House Ministries and the Walk for Sickle Cell Disease benefiting the Massachusetts Sickle Cell Association.
On Saturday, the credit union was a $2,500 Walking Partner Sponsor of the Walk for Hope Fall Festival, an annual fundraiser that supports the work of Lazarus House Ministries. The organization serves more than 2,000 individuals and families each week through programs that address homelessness, food insecurity, housing instability, and other critical needs throughout the Merrimack Valley.
That same day, members of BrightBridge's Dorchester branch team joined community members at the Walk for Sickle Cell Disease in Boston. Hosted by the Massachusetts Sickle Cell Association, the event raises awareness of sickle cell disease while generating support for programs and services that benefit individuals and families affected by the condition. BrightBridge has proudly partnered with the Massachusetts Sickle Cell Association for many years, including an annual $3,500 donation, and remains committed to supporting the organization's efforts to provide education, advocacy and community resources that help improve quality of life for those living with sickle cell disease.
